ALL the products we offer on this site have been torture tested during our multiple month expeditions.  WE ONLY OFFER THE PRODUCTS WE'VE USED, ABUSED, AND TOTALLY BELIEVE IN.  We have grouped the following products together to help guide you on your purchase:  

1. Fugawi Software:  A very comprehensive GPS software that will allow for fast, accurate, and easy upload of our route CD's.  It stores our data and yours plus allows you to edit, manipulate, and create your own data with any map.

Fugawi Routes CD (Vol.1 and/or Vol.2) - has all the routes from the respective guidebook in Fugawi format ready to use with this software.  Routes can be uploaded from the CD to the GPS with a click of a finger (simply & accurately) saving you from hand punching in all the waypoints (hundreds) and creating the routes yourself. **we do not offer the routes CD without a guidebook purchase; the system works together to navigate you properly.  You must have the Fugawi Software in order to operate the CD's.

The Fugawi Software and Route CD's are very popular purchases- this saves tedious time hand punching waypoints/routes and makes sure each waypoint is accurate.  It will also save you time & money purchasing it with your first order rather than receiving the guidebooks and then ordering after you see how many waypoints/routes are included in the guidebook!

• Fugawi Maps: All of "Baja and Mexico North" topo and/or "Fugawi Map of America" - both are great digital topo maps! These pre- calibrated maps allow for viewing & editing data, and making your own routes & maps by clicking on the map to build a route.

• GPS Maps:  We also offer the Baja Navigator Map, which can be loaded directly to your GPS and/or used on your computer with Garmin's MapSource Software only (this comes free with a purchase of a Garmin GPS).

• 5X7 Mapcase - the guidebooks come with 5x7 course description charts that are easily referenced in this 5x7 mapcase that attaches to any style handle bar allowing you to reference mileage, waypoints, and directions on the fly!

• RAM Mount - easy to attach, totally adjustable, very inexpensive - there is no better choice than a RAM Mount or we wouldn't sell it!

• InvisibleShield - saves your GPS from damage.  For under $10, invisibleshield is a screen saver you will only need to apply one time (no more peeling or bubbles).  It adheres the screen flawlessly.  They are so confident that it will not peel off, it's guaranteed for replacement for the life of your GPS.  Saving the screen from scratches and abbrassion saves you replacement money on a pricey gadget.

• Upload Service with the purchase of Vol. 1 and/or Vol. 2 - if you already have GPS software you are using, the upload service gives you the opportunity to download the routes to any software you prefer to use. This alleviates having to purchase Fugawi and the Fugawi Routes CD and will download to ANY GPS Software that accepts your GPS. **we do not offer the upload service if you do not own a guidebook.

Rent or purchase a satellite phone: Rent the Iridium 9505A - top of the line satellite phone at an inexpensive rate so you have an emergency option for a flight for life rescue if needed.

Become an emergency evacuation member: For an annual $45 fee, you will have a full year to call for a flight for life helicopter in Baja California.  There is more to emergency rescue than meets the eye.  You need international clearance, custom connections, boarder releases, hospital communication for specific injuries, and a reliable helicopter service.  This service is all wrapped in one.  Use your Sat. phone to call in your GPS location and the rest is done for you faster and more efficiently than available anywhere.  If you need a flight for life in Baja, this service is your only ticket for survival whether you are in a remote desert or in a hospital in Tijuana.

ARC PBL: If you also travel to other remote areas of the world, this emergency beacon may be a better solution for rescue.  Each beacon is set up with your personal information.  Once activated, the transceiver sends your information with a GPS location to the coast guard.  They will come to any location in the remote world for rescue after receiving and verifying your information.  This service is good anywhere in the world, but not as FAST or EFFICIENT as a flight for life rescue (only for Baja).

First Aid Kits: We offer a basic first aid kit and a suture kit in a very durable pouch that is easy to stuff in your back or saddlebags.  When in Baja, BE PREPARED.  It's when you are not that you always seem to need it.

Emergency Bivvy:  This 3.5 ounce easy to pack bivvy can keep you warm on an unexpected overnight,  protect you from elements like wind and rain, and comfort an injured while waiting for rescue.  Its bright orange color can also help rescuers see your location.

Rino 530:  This GPS has it all.  The interface is easy to use and understand as a novice, yet has all the highly used bells and whistles you want out of a GPS.  Plus, it offers a VHF Radio compatible with our Helmet Comm System.  If you are interested in an all-in-one GPS, the Rino 530 has it all.
